Please recommend North American tabletop roleplaying conventions.

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, and I've previously attended DunDraCon and KublaCon Prime/Fall. I intend to attend Games of Berkeley Con this year. I just found out about PacificonQuest in Santa Clara today, and I'd like to ask if anyone knows anything about it. That's local, so it feels a little weird I haven't heard of it before?

I'd like to know if there are other local conventions I don't know about. Furthermore, I do travel a fair amount. I am almost certainly going to go to Los Angeles at some point this year, but I haven't chosen dates, so please tell me of Los Angeles based cons. I have family in Austin and visit every year or two, so tell me of Austin based cons as well. That family may move to Denver this year, so I also want to pay attention to Denver cons. There's also a whole list of cities I either plan to go to, commonly end up in, or want excuses to go to. For convenience, here's a list of places where a con could work for me. I am a non-driver, and if I travel for a con, I'd want to do more than just a con, so some places got filtered out of this list because of that, such as Indianapolis. There are cities I've been to enough times relatively recently that I want to spend time and money checking out other cities, so I didn't put them on the list (Sorry, NYC and Portland and Vancouver and Boston and San Diego, still love you). If this list seems like it has some weird exclusions, that's why.

Denver = GenghisCon. There are others, but this is the only one that is worth such a drive.
To be clear, I actually can't drive, and anything outside of California, I'd fly to.

The list I made is cities that I either am likely to go to or want to go to for reasons outside of gaming cons, so a smaller con that wouldn't be worth a long drive may actually be okay. I'd fly out to that city to do multiple things including a con, rather than fly out just to do a con. A small con in a larger vacation may be a fine value proposition. This is also why I do not want to go to Indianapolis for GenCon.

You still good. GenghisCon is only 800~1000 people across a whole Fri-Sun weekend. it's also at a hotel that the airport drops you off nearby via rail.

Ottawa has a small game con in May called CanGames. I think it will be May 15-18th this year.

If there a game con that you find in Montreal, you don’t have to worry about speaking English in Montreal. Most Everyone can speak English and will accommodate you. Quebec City is mostly the same.
