Pocket PC apps for DnD 3E

Blarg!

I just posted up a new version of DSF Pocket that removes the time-out/date checking from the program. It won't time-out on you anymore. The original plan was for me to sell this software, but I'm not going to do that anymore. I've decided to make all of my D20 related software freeware.

I'm sorry for not getting this fix up sooner. I had a full rebuild of my machine a couple of weeks ago, and I'm just now getting back around to reinstalling and updating all of my embedded tools.

I'm also working on the XP calculator tonight as I promised that to a few people, and I want to get that out for you. Look for it later this evening.

Happy gaming!

XP Calculator

Just wanted to drop by again and say that I've added an experience calculator to DSF Pocket. The current version with the experience calculator is now available for download.

Enjoy!

Well there is PC Familiar which is pretty cool. I personally also like the ACE series of programs, available here. I absolutely love their dice roller and XP Calculator. If fact, it's the only reason I'm using my Palm IIIx at the moment..

Dave

I can not get the pc genview to work properly on my palm IIIc
I mean that I try and setup the conduit and it won't work.
I can see the 2 that came with the program but am unable to do anything else...

I'd love to have something like this, but my Cassiopeia is neither Pocket PC 2002 or ARM compatible.

I've used the exp calc. It rocks. I highly recommend DSF Pocket.

Which OS does your Cassiopeia use? What type of processor does it use?

I can possibly compile a version to run on your device if I have the information above. I will only be able to test it using an emulator, but if you're willing to try it out and don't mind helping test it, I will try to put together a version that will operate on your Cassiopeia.

You can respond either here on the boards or email beerskunk@digitalsloth.com. Either will work. :)

My Cassiopeia uses a MIPS processor and runs Microsoft Windows CE Version 3.0.9348 (Build 9351).

I'd love to try it out. I've been looking high and low for something like this.

Just bumping this up again as I just got a Dell Axim and I was wondering what's new for Pocket PCs. I'm downloading DS Forgeworks PPC as I type this.

I found a good character sheet for PocketPC.

Check out the "Character Sheet" link here:
RPGCommando Character Sheet

I had to pay ten bucks, but it's easy to use and update, and looks like it will fully replace the need for all the paper sheets normally needed for playing my character.

The spell tracking part is just a simple list box, there's no way to group by level or anything. So if you play a spellcaster and desire a more elaborate mechanism for keeping track of spells, then you'll have to use something else.
But this is adequate for everything else.

Also, BeerSkunk is cooler than Captain Power.

I have been considering a Dell Axim.

Could those people...Therigwin and jdavis...perhaps tell us your opinions of DS Forgeworks PPC since you've gotten you axim.

I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks
