Polarm questions

(he, him)
Hi all,

I know that there is a feat in DCv1 (pole fighter?) that allows some polearms to be added to a monks list of special weapons. Can anyone tell me which polarms? And does the feat do anything else? What are the prerequisites?

Also, is there any feat in there (or anywhere else) that allows a piercing polearm to be used like a lance when mounted? If not, would such a thing be balanced?

Serpent Strike from the Eberron CS IIRC.

Using a polearm to be used like a lance... no way. But you could use a lance in melee as a polearm, no problem :D

You're probably thinking of Pole Fighter, DC p105. It just allows you to flurry with it, though. Assuming you have the ability to flurry already. It's any polearm that you're proficient with and have weapon focus for.

And, nothing like using it as a lance, though there are other cool polearm feats in there.
