Poll: Favored class & why?

What is your favorite class?

So I'm not sure if this question has been posed before on the forums, but I'm very curious as to what people say is their favorite class and why?

I'm just putting down the "basic 4" in the poll for simplicity sake, but the archetypes should just be all lumped into the poll numbers and you can explain in a small post the exact class and why you like it so much.

I'll go first of course:

Favored class: Paladin
Why: I've always just felt akin to the class, the honor, the responsibilities, and the cool holy avenger they eventually get.

Ranger. The paladin of Erastil I made for the PF game I play in even looks and acts more like a ranger than a paladin.

Edit: oh, right, why...I like the one-with-nature archtype. Also, bows are fun for killing from a distance.

Clerics:

The true stand-alone character in most RPGs. They can fight, cast spells, diplomacyerize people, whatever you like. Not the best at an role, but usually tied for first or in second place.

Lots of different ways to make them, lots of different ways to play them, and most have a ready-made place in the campaign world.

Rogues are a pretty independent lot, till they start taking damage. Then they come home to the cleric. :)

I like them all pretty well, but I'll have to say rogue. Ingenuity is more a part of the rogue than any other class.

I would have said psion if available.

I should have put that as an example under the Mage class, to me it's a caster (if lumped together) class. For the purposes of the poll I didn't want to put down 30-40 different options for classes.
