It was very fun. So far, I am a big fan. I voted 4 because, while I "really liked" the things I got to play in, I won't have a firm opinion until I've seen everything eles 4e has to offer.

So... you really liked (5) what you played. But marked it down to 4 cause you didn't get to play enough?

...

Be nice to see some of the 1-3s give the reason why - for instance, I'd not be surprised if some people just didn't enjoy the full out combat-y nature of things (Delve, Scalegloom, in particular)

That's pretty much it. I was really busy with various press events and so I wasn't able to play in the 4-hour-FR adventure that I had signed up for.

But, the Delves I played in were all wicked fun... granted, they were run by Chris Perkins or Andy Collins... so that could have had something to do with the fun-factor. :)

As a one-shot, and a chance to see and play something new, it was fun. I'd give it a '3' for content, a '4' for fun. As a straight-up dungeon crawl it lacked the variety and RP to make it a truly memorable experience.

Well lets me honest here as well gang. You guys didn't want roleplaying. I was talking to 'The Rouse' on Saturday and Chris and said that somebody had complained about that to me and I found it funny. If we had written the greatest roleplaying event ever that had you crying and hugging each other at the end of the session without a single fight in it then I would expect to find myself still burning on the pyre you guys built and tied me to.

You guys didn't come for a story. You guys came because you wanted crunch. You wanted rules and numbers and as much of both as you could find or wring out of us.

and I believe you were the small female enworld person (ask anybody - I suck at names really bad) who asked me for copies of events at the show and I apologize if I was a little short or snippy with you. I was in the middle of dealing with a really bad situation that had me very distracted and when I turned again you were gone. I am not currently allowed to release those but if that days comes by all means contact me and we'll hook you up.

Sure, but (a) *I* still would have liked a little RP, and (b) even as a straight-up dungeon crawl it lacked variety. All kobolds, a really stupid trap, and a probable-TPK encounter to end it. Basically zero skill checks, no non-combat interaction at all -- not even a chance to parley with the kobold leader and maybe find out about the dragon beforehand. No problem solving at all.

I'm not saying I didn't have fun, just that the 'module' could have been better designed as an all-around showcase. From what I heard, other one's did, but as I didn't get to play in those, I have to base my vote on what I did get to play.

Nope. I was one of the ENW representatives, but I am tall and blonde. You're probably thinking of Xath. She is a short (as in, shorter than me) brunette. :)

Geez, he is bad with names. Who forgets the tall blonde woman at a gamer convention?

I made the trek and endured the nigh-unbearable traffic design of Washington DC.

The games were fun. I give it a 4 to 4.5. I would've liked to have a slightly better selection (we always had the same 6 characters). I did like that the encounters for the delves varied from delve to delve.

I had fun playing all of the characters, even the pure spellcasters that I don't really like much in 3rd ed.

Our delves (and I played in 7 of them goshdurnit to get that card!) were all different in one way or another. It was randomized somehow. I never ever found myself bored at any time when I was actually playing - standing in line for 45 mins to an hour is another matter.

The guy who's had about 20 hours of sleep since last Tuesday (ya about 3-4 hours a night), more beers then I even want to count, a large man from Paizo sleeping on my couch, I'm sick, my leg hurts from having it humped one billion times this week from people wanting either 4th edition information or think I have the magical 'NDA of 4th edition creation' wand (my great standard answer - 'ya the playtest rocks and no you can't be in my group'), and I've not seen my kids in almost a week (still at work and oh so close to going home to see them) and missing them really really bad right now.

So ya don't remember the tall blonde woman
