I probably buy about one a month, but only about a quarter of them are D&D.

Dang - so just how much D&D stuff (or gaming stuff) do you own?

I have two full bookshelves of gaming stuff - floor to ceiling bookshelves - with a ton of 1E and 2E stuff (though mostly 1E, where I have everything, 2E - I got the main stuff, but not all of the crap that was put out in later years - I wasn't gaming then anyway) - basic and expert sets, then the big hardcover for basic+, everything 3E, plus a bunch of 3rd party stuff, Everything ever published for SHadowrun, some Runequest, Paranoia, DC Hero, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, about 150 metal minis (about 60 painted now by me), about a half-gallon of dice...

and to top it off, I have every single issue of Dragon magazine and Dungeon magazine ever published.

Diaglo, just out of curiosity, where do you keep your collection? How much to you charge for tours?

On average, I buy a book every month - but in the last 6-8 months this has signficantly decreased to about a book every other month or so. I see no indication of this changing.

I'm not at the ho or john level, but I get 1-2 books per week, plus 4-5 minis. Sometimes more, sometimes less, depending on whats out. Right now my D20 collection takes up four bookshelves, and total RPG stuff (including all my books, minis, dwarven forge, etc) probably weighs in at the 1.5-2 ton figure.

Some months I buy none but others I'll buy 4 or more. So, I'd say I average about 2-3 books a month. Recently, I have cut down on purchases but that won't last long I'm sure. The D&D minis have cut into my gaming budget significantly...

Rubbish, you just have to cut down on rubbish like alcohol and that absolute waste of money called food. I mean, it's just going to come back out in a few hours so why bother.
