The whip, it's the only ranged weapon used in our group. THe monk and druid have spears and the bard, who uses a whip) has a crossbow. But the whip gets the most use.

The Lasher's +2 shocking burst mighty composite (+4) whip dagger probably wins the favored ranged weapon in the game I run. 3 attacks of electric death on a full attack (and he doesn't even hit the paladin in the back anymore )

My group prefers the Leaser Pistol, execpt for my cleric of war and he carries a blaster rifle.
