OK, we all know the nine D&D alignments don't really work in the real world. I'm conveniently ignoring that fact.

By participating in this poll, you agree to pidgeonhole yourself into the alignment you think most closely matches your personality.

Neutral Good. I'm basically a self-serving guy but don't advance my self-interest at the expense of others and sometimes go out of my way to help others. Law and chaos are meaningless to me; or put another way, they are equally useful to me in achieving my ends.

I'm with him.

I usually obey the law, but I sometimes break the law (particularly traffic laws - such as the speed limit). I don't wish ill to happen to most people, but I'm not a bleeding heart either. I feel that people are the architects of their own destiny, so there is little use interfering when the destiny they created begins to manifest. I am not religious, but I am not atheist either.

True neutral.

I'd probably have to claim Lawful Good. I've been in heated arguments with people at work about their "rights" to download music or books without paying for them, and my wife has used the expression "Damn you and your ethics!" in exacerbation several times :)

Chaotic Good. I have an inherent distrust of authority, government, etc. and have to really work to even envision where Lawful meets Good. Also, I conciously try (meaning I work at it, but don't always manage to step out) to help people when possible.

It's always interesting to see how others view things. If someone handed me the above description w/o the alignment listed, I'd call it textbook True Neutral.

Chaotic Neutral

Not motivated to help others because of Altruism or a sense for the greater good... I help others because of a personal connection. I think that ranks as N on the G--E scale.

Don't actively pursue the destruction of Laws, but am very quick to disobey when a law strikes me as Stupid. Big fan of individual liberties... especially mine. Some laws shouldn't be obeyed; the others are redundant with how a polite person should act. (And I don't think that Polite = Good if you're curious.)

Neutral good was my vote, but I often have chaotic leanings. I don't trust a lot of authority or power in any place. But I don't really fight any authority all the time, I'm too timid for chaotic, usually

I've always claimed to be Chaotic Good.

Although... It seems all the 'in depth' alignment tests classify me as Chaotic Evil.

Which seems somewhat typical... evil people do their best work under the delusion of being good.

Every time I take one of the myriad alignment tests online, I come up Chaotic Evil. But for the last three of them I've taken, I've come up lawful Evil.

To quote Bad Santa; "I think I've turned a corner"
