I voted for low level, because I am starting a new campaign recently.

Willie, have you seen the most recently revised submission guidelines for Dungeon Adventures? They would be helpful to give you the right starting point.

I had heard there was a new version of the new version Writers Guidelines coming soon. I have the new version only. But if you mean the newer new version, I haven't seen them yet.

Another way to do it would be to work with someone who knows the rules well, at least to start with. I bet a number of people here would help you out!

Hey, Willie, maybe you should post your list of credentials. I get the (sad) feeling that some people don't know you or your work.

It's perfectly understandable if people haven't a clue who I am. I'm having trouble myself with the concept.

People may recall the adventures, rather than the author, in which case maybe the following may assist in jogging the memory.

Willie Walsh. He (me) was born in Dublin, Ireland, in 1966 and was introduced to the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons game around 1982. He still lives in Dublin.

High level! High, high, high! Up, up and away!

And when I say high, I don't just mean "13+" - how about an advanture designed specifically for 20th level characters? I don't think there are any for that level - the highest is about 18th level, I think, and there's only one, maybe two of those.

High upon high is do-able. But I need to start lower. The scope for glaring, game-killing errors is too wide when my rules knowledge is currently so imperfect.

I'm not ruling out the more powerful adventures (otherwise there was no point including them in the poll).

Please continue to mark your preferences, good people.

There are exactly two 20+ adventures that I know of -- the current DUNGEON has one for 21st level characters, and the one just prior has one for 20th level characters.

I'm torn between a good low level adventure and a non-level specific adventure. If you are just getting back into D&D with 3E I would think that the non-level specific adventure might be easier as you could focus on NPC development and great role playing scenarios (always your strongest area if I may say so Willie).

I voted for non-level specific but to be honest I would be happy with any new adventure from you - I have run more than a few of your adventures from Dungeon magazine in the past - glad to see you back in action again!
