Polyhedron Revival?

Will this resurrected Polyhedron still showcase that kind of thing? Or will it harken back to an earlier age, when minigames had not yet even been dreamed of?

EDIT: someone beat me to the punch.

I hadn't heard this, but it makes sense. Polyhedron had a loyal fanbase, and while they weren't buying in sufficient numbers to support the magazine as it was, the overhead on electronic products is several orders of magnitude lower.

I was never that big a fan of Poly myself, but I'd love to see this succeed.

Poly was hit and miss for me, throughout all the incarnations I've seen (nothing before the release of 3E). While I miss the d20 mini-games that I thought I might use someday, they were the exception rather than the rule. I don't miss the wasted space (for me) that the rest were.

This seems ideal. What's suprising to me, is how it flew under the radar. The announcement implies it's only a couple of weeks away, but I haven't heard anything about it.

Given that it looks like it's returning to its RPGA-only roots, if you're not an RPGA member, that may not be surprising. Heck, even if you *are* an RPGA member, given that organization's hit-and-miss communications record, that may not be surprising. I heard some rumbling of this around the time of Winter Fantasy.

Also, given that, I'd be really surprised if it contains mini-games. I could be wrong, of course.

While I'm glad it is back, I still prefer the "definitive d20 magazine" format when it has gone commercial. I'm less of a D&D fan and more of a d20 fan these days.

I better bug my FLGS to carry EN World Gamer magazine. For now, this d20 PRINT magazine will hold my interest.

Check the ENpub forum, EN World Gamer has been cancelled.

I hope they don't squirrel this away in some tiny corner of their website and make it have some sort of password that they email RPGA members to download. I've been a member since back when you still had to pay to be part of the club, but I haven't done anything with that, so I'm a bit nervous about missing some important aspect of this.

If that's the case, you could rejoin. It costs NOTHING!
