Pool of Radiance adventure: What Level?

Vacuum, thank you. I can now purchase with impunity!

If I recall correctly (which I almost never do ;-) ) the adventure module was supposed to be based off the computer game being released at the same time.

But I could be wrong.

I thought the same thing, fba, which is why I didn't want one of my players knowing the whole plot of the module from his playing of the game. But if they're different, then that's cool.

Hey, by the way...I'm in Rockville too. You buy your stuff @ Dream Wizards?

The computer game is Ruins of Myth Drannor. The module is Attack on Myth Drannor. They have very little in common.

Except that the Collector's Edition of the computer game includes both of them...and they feature intertwined plotlines (where the pen-and-paper crew does one quest and the computer group does the higher levels of some tower)...and Sean K. Reynolds was given art treatments from the computer game and told to incorporate the desgins into the module...etc. etc. etc.

I suppose I'd be more annoyed if I had actually paid $18 based on your advice. But since most of the posts I read over at the Wizards board claim that the only thing that sucks worse than the computer game is the module, I'll be avoiding both!!!

Serves me right for asking advice on here....
