Portable Hole and Wondrous Architecture

Can wondrous architecture from Stronghold Builder's Guide be added to the interior of a portable hole?

I'm thinking particularly, a Chamber of Comfort, maybe a Platform of Healing on the floor. A mini stronghold!

Could be nice since the hole can be "rolled up" from the inside as stated in the item's description. You can enter your hole to crash for the night and be as safe as you'd be if using Mordenkainen's Magnificent Mansion.

I don't see why not. Wondrous architecture (from the Stronghold builder's guide) seems like it can be purchased and placed as desired.

Note though: the Stronghold builder's guide is a 3.0 product, so check if you DM allows it. Also, a DM probably wouldn't allow this in combination with the landlord feat (if desired).

I'd be worried about somebody coming along and picking it up, personally.

I've actually thought about doing this in on occasion - then I thought about just how the DM could screw with us if I did it.

Be quite handy for concealing dungeons in your building.

It might also be worth checking out how fragile your DM thinks portable holes are. It could be a right pain if your construction team gets sucked into the Astral plane while putting up some shelves.

Well, I've been thinking...why make a 20,000g portalbe hole to a pocket dimension?

How about talking to Bahamut or one of his boys, and getting his leave to have a piece of real estate on the Crystal Sea on Celestia (that many good people from the Prime Material Plane do anyway (its the D&D vacation spot. A sort of "Outer Planes Cabo), build a TINY underground stronghold...say with 5 or 6 rooms, and make a "Portable Hole" open there? Its SO unlikely that anyone will wander in, and a few phasedoors and other neat wondrous architecture stuff could make the area completely secure? Besides, the portable hole cloth would be the only way in. Now you can camp there when traveling, and never have to worry about the overtly silly exploding bag of holding/portable hole nonsense.

I'm guessing there aren't too many Robbers roaming around Celestia! Hehe.
