My position on scantily clad women, especially in their supposedly combat mode is known, so I will just say that the work is good, but the image I don't care for.

Hmmm, I never really considered Alariel scantily-clad in comparison to the silliness of chainmail bikinis. I was always a big fan of Marle's outfit from Chrono Trigger from a fashion sense point of view (which is where I stole it from =) ), and considering Alariel is a big fan of dancing as a hobby, and fights unarmored all the time, it seemed logical to have an outfit that was loose and unrestrictive. Plus, Alariel is mildly vain, well-aware that she's an attractive elf maiden. She doesn't really have any qualms about using that to her advantage if it's necessary.
I can appreciate that others wouldn't agree, though. She isn't immune to cold, so she still has to wear layers of clothes in the winter and other cold environs. Rest assured, you'd never see her in a chainmail bikini and thong.

I definately like her image Alariel! She is pretty awesome!!
Personally, I don't see anything wrong with skimpy outfits on men, or women.. Men have their strength, and without the handicaps of garments and armor getting in the way, helps play on that str, with dex.
Women on the other hand, especially when fighting these kind of men. Need not only what str they have, but much dex to get out of sticky situations, and let us not forget their wit.. In that case, if there pretty, sexy, etc.,hey if they got it, flaunt it....tee hee..
If they are not all that, well then, probably need to work on their stats some more.....
