Well, we usually get movies pretty early in Iceland, more often
than not sooner than the rest of Europe (in some cases, even
before the Americans, go figure).

Plus, seeing a movie on video is just not the same as seeing it
in the theatre.

Well, that was rather rude.

Greatwyrm, I wouldn't expect great things from Bubba Ho-Tep. I'm a fan of Bruce Campell, and I like cheesy movies, but I found this film to be disappointing. The idea is better than the execution. It's certainly not terrible, but as Kai Lord says it's not perfect.

We loved this movie. We saw it in the theater, and thought it was everything we hoped it would be. See it!

A fun little movie. Not great cinema, but lots of fun.

If I remember correctly, Bruce was introduced on NPR's Round Table as "a man who doesn't have to worry about getting Oscar nominations."

We love him anyway. Definately something I'll have to pick up.

And I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel, but I understand why they're leery of doing one.
