D&D 4E Post here if you ARE going to 4E!

My group is definitely going to 4E. We've got serious 3.5 fatigue.

4e all the way. I'm not totally enthralled with everything I've heard. But so much of what I have heard is such a vast improvement over 3.5, that I will definitely be switching over.

And most of my group is excited about 4e as well. We only have a couple of fence sitters who want to see it first and a grognard who says he won't buy it. But would likely play it if he could borrow a PHB. We'll probably chip in and get him one for his birthday or something.

I'm going to buy 4e. I may run 4e. And we definitely have some problems with high-level D&D right now, even with characters that have made explicit build choices to be simpler; 4e may help with some of the things we're having problems with. I think it will, anyway.

But I'm not now, and have never been, the regular DM for my tabletop group; all I've run is six weeks of SWSE over six years of gaming with the people I play with now. And if most of them don't want to switch, then my regular game's not going to switch. So I can't say for sure.

I am cautious, so I will be watching and read the thing to make myself an idea.

But unless it's actually worse, i will probably switch - just await a serious offers of splats and all also, maybe.

Probably. Maybe not. We'll see. I don't usually say I'm going to run an RPG before I read it (I think 3E was the only game I've done that for).
