Post yer Scry house rules...

Scrying just seems a little bit too easy IMO - which creates a problem at the higher levels with the Scry-Teleport-Wham problem. I'm looking for some good solutions, and if you know any, post 'em here!

The biggest problem I always run into is that the players want to use the Scrying spell to locate a place. The spell is strictly for locating creatures and you must have some knowledge or other connection to the creature to scry on it.

If your players want to view a place they need to use Clairvoyance.

Bingo! Stops the Scry-Teleport combo in its tracks.

I've been toying with the idea of making it an opposed roll, so Scrying on Scriers is tougher, but all my campaigns so far have been relatively low level so I have no incentive. :)
