Power attacks and Critical hits

First Post
You'd think this would have come up sometime before the weaponmaster hit 23rd level....

Does the damage increase from Power Attack multiply along with the strength modifier when a critical hit is rolled?

example: my 20th level fighter subtracts 20 from his to hit and adds it to his damage. he then manages to roll a critical hit. assuming a weapon with a x3 crit modifier he would take his damage dice and roll them 3 times, add his strength modifier 3 times, add his weapons enchantment bonus to damage 3 times, And his 20 extra damage from power attack?

i get the feeling i'm just missing a rule in the books about this. but thanks for any help :)

Mmmmm, critical power attack.

drools

If that makes you drool, consider that:

Half-Orc (Or Wood Elf) with 20 Base Strength
+5 From Ability Increases
+5 From Wish/Manual
+6 From Belt of Giant Strength
+14 From Rage/ Frenzy
------------------------------
Str 50, or +20 Mod
*1,5 for Two-Handed: 30
+ 40 From Power Attack (Frenzied Berserkers get +2 Damage for every -1 Attack)
+2d6+5 Weapon+1d6 Fire (+5 Flaming Burst Mercurial Greatsword)
------------------------------
2d6+75 +1d6 Fire

And on a Crit, that's
8d6+300 + 3d10 Fire.
Average 344 Damage. And with Power Critical you can enforce a crit. Real scary.
