Powerful Halfling character?

Gee, nobody mentioned one of my favorite halfling classes: the Bard. Halflings make rockin' bards ...

(I keep threatening my DM that if my Monk bites it, my next character will be a halfling Rogue/Bard. The theory was that this would help keep my Monk alive. His ultimate response was that, no, but it might make my next character's life very precarious ... )

Hmm.

Halfling barbarian/fighter. Throwing axes. Point Blank Shot, Rapid Shot, Quickdraw ASAP.

Start with a lvl barbarian (or two if you think you need uncanny dodge, a lvl rogue don't hurt here too, then fighter (ya know, heading slowly towards Weapon Specialisation), then keep the two of them on par.

You are as fast as a human, can rage to throw things that HURT. That level rogue can make your first round obscene if you win initiative.

Consider going for twoweaponfighting later. But you CAN use a throwing axe twohanded (I like the image: A halfling cutting a troll into pieces with a throwing axe!)
