That's right, after much delay and waiting, the Enchiridion of Treasures and Objects d'Art is available from S.T. Cooley Publishing! It is available for purchase at RPGNow.com and a demo is available either there or at the S.T. Cooley Publishing product page (http://www.cooleys.org/publishing/index.asp?view=stc002). The product description follows.

======================================

The Enchiridion of Treasures and Objects d'Art is 144 pages intended as a resource for players and DMs alike. In it is a system for creating truly memorable (and believable) treasures - from single distingushing pieces of equipment to exotic treasure hoards. This system for creating objects d'art has the flexibility to create literally billions of works of art, from engraved gold chalices to finely spun cloaks to weapons made of gemstone and other exotic materials.

Adventurers! Tired of lugging around endless piles of coins? Want to get equipment that makes you stand out of a crowd and be noticed? Trying to find that special signature look to make you the talk of the town?

DMs! Tired of trying to come up with exciting and memorable non-magical treasures? Wondering just exactly why monsters have piles of coins - is that all they collect from mugging passing caravans? Wondering what you can pass out to low-level PCs bored with potions and masterwork items that will be appreciated but without giving them too much power?

Inspired by those who have long told us that no monster would really collect piles of coins and magic items, this product will add a whole new dimension to the art of treasure-hunting. This of neccessity includes treatments of the Appraise, Craft, Profession, Spellcraft, and other skills... In addition, new rules for crafting items and for economic systems of communities are included.

As with all of the works in the Enchiridion Series, this work is designed to be as modular as possible, allowing seamless and easy integration of as much or as little of the material as desired. The design is intended to be literally plug-and-play: no converting existing campaign material, instead just add what you wish right into your current campaign!

FWIW, this is not EXACTLY the product I had hoped to put out - I had to relegate the "Items" section to a list in an appendix - but with a baby due in just 3 days, I felt discretion was the better part of valor. In my mind, I have the A+ version - this is the B+ to A- version, but I feel okay with putting it out there.

In other news, a cleaned-up, updated version of the Enchiridion of Mystic Music has been released - a few extra pages of spells, plus a MUCH nicer cover and better interior art have been added. Customers who already purchased a copy of the EoMM will be receiving an e-mail in the next day or so with a link to a free copy of the update.

Nicely done, Spencer!

I just flipped through the Enchiridion of Treasures this morning and was impressed with the depth of material therein.

The Enchiridion of Mystic Music revision looks remarkably prettier than the previous edition (which I liked a lot) also.

Good luck with the baby, they can be a handful!

Thanks for the kind words, Jason.

I think even without a baby, I'd be taking off a month or so for "writing detox" before starting something new. My son is almost 2 years old (Feb 1st birthday) so I'm definitely going to need a little time to adjust to two of the little ones in the house.

I also need to adjust to the new house (we moved in November) - and get it cleaned up and everything installed and put away (why does unpacking take so much darned longer than packing, anyway?!?) and get a little rest (been burning the candle at both ends at work, too).

I have a few other things percolating that may come down the pipe later this year, but to be honest, while I foresee some revisions, upgrades, and cleanups to existing stuff, I really don't see anything new coming out before December-ish. :(

OTOH, it'll give me a chance to catch up on all the d20 stuff that has been released since about mid-October - haven't done much reading at all and I do like to try to stay current. :)

I'll be sure to update everyone when the new arrival... arrives. ;)

Definately nice. As I commented to you in emal, the Creation topics are very interesting to me. The bulk of your formulae are going into my game asap.

Excellent! I shall have to pick this one up ASAP!

And I got the revised Mystic Music, but I have to admit, that I haven't even opened it yet! One of those cases where I downloaded, and then got sidetracked. But, I'll get to it, I promise!

Oh, that's just awesome. That's exactly the kind of thing I was looking for from Philip J. Reed's books, but didn't quite get. Definitely gonna have to pick that up. rpgnow.com, you say?

Sorry

Sorry the stuff I did wasn't what you were looking for. I hope you got some use out of it.
