Pray for Me, Sinners 😂😬

I always thought it was interesting medicine is one of the most INT-heavy and sciency professions in the modern world, but in D&D gets shunted to WIS, because of the need in 1st ed to have different prime requisites for magic-users and clerics. WIS doesn't even really make that much sense for clerics (I always preferred games that had a Piety stat), because an unworldly cleric with no common sense is a real religious archetype--lots of mystics rejected the physical, mundane world.

Shrug, path-dependence...

Hope everything turns out well, doctorbadwolf!

Yeah the worst part, as usual, was the application of anesthesia.
Ooof, yes! The only time I've had an anaesthesia that didn't hurt (to remove my bonus wisdom tooth) the nurse deliberately injected it very slowly so it started numbing the area straight away. She said most doctors, nurses and dentists just inject it too quickly.

Of course nowadays I always have to mention that I need extra anaesthetic. For some reason it wears off very quickly with me. On one memorable occasion while I was having a vasectomy.

Yikes!
PS Hope you get your results soon, and that it's nothing too serious.
Thanks. Me too lol
