1) What is your favorite thing about D&D 3e? Why?
2) What is your LEAST favorite thing about D&D 3e? Why?
3) What is your favorite RPG system to play? Why?
4) What character and/or campaign (any game system) you remember most fondly (or like best if "current")? Why?
5) What do you find the most enjoyable part about making a character? Why?
6) What do you find the LEAST enjoyable part about making a character? Why?
7) Take a moment to think about various fantasy character types. Not necessarily any one system or campaign setting. Now, just in terms of what you would find the MOST fun to play -apart from any specific mechanics (3e, GURPS, T&T, etc.) or what character types other players are using- give a short description of your "ideal" character. Include (if you can):
- What skills or abilities he/she is particularly good at (melee, spells, stealth, social skills, etc.)
- What weaknesses might you include if they had no impact beyond how you roleplayed the character (no minuses in combat, XP, etc.)?
- What kind of situations in which the character would be fun to play (combat, crime, investigation, intrigue, etc.)
- What made this character decide to be an "adventurer"? (Glory, Riches, Revenge, "Accidental Hero")
- Is the character a "good guy" or a "bad guy"? Why?
- What long terms goals does the character have in any? (Wealth, Love, Fame, Power, A house in the country?)
- What race are they (human, elf, snake-man, etc.)? Why are they the race they are? ("It's fun to play a ____." Is an acceptable answer.)
Your answers can be as short -or long- as you like.
Thanks in advance for any replies.
