Do we need ANOTHER reprint of the 1e AD&D DMG?!Home bologna kits
I actually wish they would do a "Gygaxian Sourcebook" that was a collection of edition neutral game mastering writing by EGG, including stuff from the 1E DMG. It would not only honor his legacy, but remind folks of what the original intent of the game was (even if we aren't required to stick to that intent). I bet Shadowdark players who discovered RPGs with 5E would have their minds blown.Do we need ANOTHER reprint of the 1e AD&D DMG?!
I can't imagine much I'd be less interested in. There are so many great GM advice books, much better than anything he wrote for sure.I actually wish they would do a "Gygaxian Sourcebook" that was a collection of edition neutral game mastering writing by EGG, including stuff from the 1E DMG. That would probably be 75% the DMG with the crunch removed, plus a few Dragon articles. I love High Gygaxian, but I'm not sure this take on it would be a value add over just reissuing the commemorative 1E editions again, maybe this time with better binding.I actually wish they would do a "Gygaxian Sourcebook" that was a collection of edition neutral game mastering writing by EGG, including stuff from the 1E DMG.
