Do we need ANOTHER reprint of the 1e AD&D DMG?!
I actually wish they would do a "Gygaxian Sourcebook" that was a collection of edition neutral game mastering writing by EGG, including stuff from the 1E DMG. It would not only honor his legacy, but remind folks of what the original intent of the game was (even if we aren't required to stick to that intent). I bet Shadowdark players who discovered RPGs with 5E would have their minds blown.

I can't imagine much I'd be less interested in. There are so many great GM advice books, much better than anything he wrote for sure.

That would probably be 75% the DMG with the crunch removed, plus a few Dragon articles. I love High Gygaxian, but I'm not sure this take on it would be a value add over just reissuing the commemorative 1E editions again, maybe this time with better binding.

I don't mean to say such a book would be better GM advice than stuff we have seen, like Robin's Laws of Good Gamemastering or The Lazy GM's guides or anything else. i think it would have value, though, in the same way that reprinting and expounding upon Aaron Allston's Strike Force had real value.

I wouldn't be surprised.....World of Warcraft 5E incoming?
I think we're going to need to see the Diablo RPG make it out the door before they try again with another franchise. Even though it's a licensed product, I think there's at least some reputational harm to Blizzard, since some people will assume it's a first-party product.

But also, yes, it's weird that we haven't seen anything since the very, very early 3E Warcraft RPG.

There were 2, I believe. The first from Sword & Sorcery, and the second one in house (maybe?).
