Preparations for Super Bowl LX?

I'm preparing for my twenty-sixth annual Super Bowl Eve viewing of Any Given Sunday this coming weekend before watching the Big Game the following day, even though I have no particular rooting interest for either team. :D

So for those of you who are looking forward to watching Super Bowl LX, how are you preparing for the game, both the day before and the day of?

Though I’ve watched Any Given Sunday the day before the Super Bowl (Saturday) for most of the past 26 years, there’ve been a few years when that Saturday’s schedule was so congested that I instead watched it two days before the Super Bowl (Friday). This is one of those years.

In any case, I just finished watching my Any Given Sunday stream on Prime Video and am now fully prepared to watch this Sunday’s Super Bowl.

Trying to keep my nerves in check. As a lifelong Seahawks fan I got skin in the game.

I have constant worry that Malcom Butler is back on the Pats roster or that Bill Leavy got rehired to call the game.

It is stressful waiting. Usually I buy appetizer and such this year just pacing nervously.

I just got another 6 inches of snow to move shortly. Tomorrow looks like it will start below 0 degrees for me and be windy, but I should not need to go out unless we lose power. We have food and drink, but no plans to go anywhere or have people over.

My Pats are in it (fan since 1976 or so when Steve Grogan came to my elementary school); and Bad Bunny's the half-time show; and Green Day's the kick-off band; and the last SB featuring these teams was 98% a great game (not sure what Coach Carroll was thinking).

And yet, I'm not super excited. I'll prob head down to my local and catch the half-time show and the second half.

Or, maybe I'll work on my D&D campaign for my HS friends (anyone got a good VTT map of Rivermoot?); or read a book; or organize my shed. But I'll wear my Pats jersey at least, even if Brady has moved on to other pastures and questionable political affiliations.
