I was thinking of making a fencing prestige class. Had an idea for an ability, but wanted some feedback.
Press the Attack: Before making an attack, declare that you are Pressing the Attack. Make an attack roll, but if you hit you deal no damage. Instead, roll the weapons damage die and add the result to your Armor Class for one round.
Any thoughts? I guess it'd have to be limited to once per turn, or only when wearing light or no armor. Anything else imbalancing or wonky about it?
