Dang it, you guys have all the fun! My wizard PC always memorises a prestidigitation to do something spiffy and useful with, and always ends the day using it to clean his room at the inn. Mage hand seems to be the 0-level spell of choice in the campaign I play in, although its limitation to non-magical items does limits its versatility.
