Not to make this a house rules thingy, but here's mine.
ARTIFICER
The artificer is a creator. He lets his creativity flow into his work, making items of surpassing quality. Some measure of the artificer’s power flows from his devotion to Tade, the Maker.
Hit Die: d4.
Prerequisites: Craft (any two) (10 ranks each). Skill Focus (craft). Any three item creation feats. In addition, the character must have created at least one masterwork item for each craft skill and one magic item for each item creation feat she possesses and must worship Tade.
Class Skills: Alchemy (int), Appraise (int), Craft (int), Open Locks (dex), Profession (wis), Scry (int), Use Magic Device (cha). Skill points per level: 4+int bonus.
Base Attack: Poor (as wizard)
Good Saves: Fort and Will.
Poor Saves: Reflex

1 Creative Force (10%), Craft Bonus
2 Bonus Feat
3 Creative Force (15%)

CLASS FEATURES
Weapon & Armor Proficiency: Artificers gain no weapon or armor proficiency but are proficient in any armor or weapons they craft themselves.
Spells: At every level the artificer’s spellcasting ability in one class increases by one level. Naturally this doesn’t affect any other class abilities.
Craft Bonus: The artificer gets a competence bonus to all Craft checks equal to his class level.
Creative Force: The artificer can craft items more easily than most, and his xp expenditure is reduced by the noted amount. This ability has no effect on the monetary cost or creation time.
Bonus Feats: At 2nd level and every four following levels the artificer gains a bonus item creation feat.
