Prestige classes that keep getting done... again and again and again..

Which prestige classes are you sick of seeing done again and again? The Bladesinger and all its variations is one I'm tired of seeing, and another are 'Sniper' like prestige classes. Do something new!

"Better necromancers"
"Bounty hunters"
"Knights"

Unfortunately, a lot of the prestige classes I see being done again, nobody seems to be doing right... :(

What kinda bugs me is that a lot of the prestige classes can be eliminated simply by good roleplaying by the player.

There are a few that I do like.

But on the whole it seems that a prestige class's abilities would be useless if the DM has the game run in a different direction.

And yes, there seems to be something "missing" from a lot of them. But I can't put my finger on it.

Dragon slayer prestige classes
Ninja prestige classes
Elven archer prestige classes
Variant weapon master prestige classes
Professional adventurer prestige classes

What I would like to see is some prestige classes for non-adventuring/NPC character classes, like commoners, experts, aristocrats, and adepts. I know of just one (the Hexer, for adepts). Although somebody posted an idea of a "Dark Farmer" prestige class a while back.

Just curious if you feel that way about COREAN'S Knights, since they do have the name, even if they are a different kind.

I do see a lot of elemental type of Prestige classes. It gets a little much when you have like 5 or six fire prestige classes.

Abilities for this prestige class include, but are not limited to:

Lie
Bullheaded
Word Traps
Suggestion
Mystical Babbling

It's uncanny, that's wot it is.

I'm giving *all* PrC's the Rule Zero Treatment in my upcoming game.

To compensate, I'm thinking about with making some of the more interesting (and BALANCED) PrC special abilities available as Feats...with proper prereq's of course.
