Preview of Power Gamer's 3.5 Warrior Strategy Guide

As much as I dislike this kind of play, I really get a kick out of Goodman Games's unabashed love of power gaming and hack-n-slash. It all seems done in a fun and unpretentious kind of way that I can appreciate. Anyhow, I'm sure a lot of people will pick up this book and enjoy it. So instead of nitpicking little details, look at the whole picture and judge for yourself when it comes out!

I've already stated my position about the book. I like what I see and I will look at the book when it comes out and judge it fully then. I've already stated that. You have no argument from me.

BUT I don't believe I'm nitpicking when I point out the Power Attack charts are inaccurate.

My primary reason to buy the book would be to have correct charts. If the charts aren't correct then is this a little detail? Not to me.

Do you think someone who is also looking for accurate charts would find this a little detail? I don't.

Do think people should know that the charts are inaccurate if they are going to buy the book primarily for accurate charts? I do. I like to know that stuff before I buy.

So why not inform the consumer?

It will be a shame if someone sees "inaccurate Power Attack charts" and writes the book off because I think it offers some good stuff. But I can't control what people do with information. I can inform them though.
