Awesome cover. I'm really loving Dragon at the moment, and even though that $1 will probably double by the time it gets to the UK, I'll still be getting it. However, I'm now much more seriously considering a subscription. Anyone in the UK got a subscription? How goes it? On time deliveries etc.?

Anyone in the UK got a subscription? How goes it? On time deliveries etc.?

I got subscriptions to both Dragon and Dungeon from Paizo.com when I lost access to an LGS. The cost was about $62, which equates to about £34 for 12 issues, which is about a 40% discount, I think. Subscribing for more than a year is a bit better, but not as much better than doing so in the States.

I believe "The Place for Games" offer the 'official' EU subscription route. They offer subscriptions at £40. My understanding is that they aren't any quicker, since Paizo send all subscriptions to them for distribution anyway. The price differential is due to the current weak dollar, which works in the favour of paying in US$.

The magazines get delivered on a monthly basis, but they do seem to be about a week behind the FLGS (Dragon #345 and Dungeon #136) arrived this week. However, the one thing that does annoy me is that the European distributors are now in the habit of holding onto the earlier of the magazines until the later one arrives, and then sending the two together in a single package. This, of course, means that one is delayed quite badly (it was Dragon that was delayed about a week, but they sent #344 by itself, so now Dungeon is delayed, and it seems by more than a week).
