I was wondering what books are going for what these days. Like the original Deities and Demidgods (the one with the Chuthu stuff) and other 1st addition stuffs. What about the complete red box? Is there a price guide like for trading cards?

Wow, I have R1 - R4 in perfect condition (sans shrink wrap for R1 - R3) and never realized they might be worth that much. Time to put them in some type of protective sleeve!

www.acaeum.com is a great site, and I refer to it quite a bit. As for a complete Red box basic set (I assume you are talking about the one with the Elmore cover), I picked a mint copy on Ebay (dice & crayon still in the bag and everything) for $7 a few months ago.

See, TB? That discussion about always using protection is paying off for some folks...

Got a number of those (Core Books, mostly) but I have rarely had something that hasn't seen some serious usage, and most of my books had been replaced after wearing out to subsequent printings. However, my 1st Ed of the AD&D D&Dg has only some corner wear, practically mint condition. I doubt I'd get rid of anything, either.
