This cloak allows the wearer to Wild Shape into a wolf once per day. If worn by a Druid of 5th or higher level, this cloak allows one additional use of the Druid's Wild Shape ability.
How would you price this item?
For comparison, Sword & Fist's Gloves of Ki (gives +5 bonus to Monk's Stunning Attack ability) cost 2,600 GP, and the two items in Savage Species which grant an extra Smite (Good or Evil, depending) cost an extra 13,500 GP over what their normal bonuses would dictate.
Druid's Vestements, which grant an extra Wild Shape per day, only cost 5,800 GP. So, I think this cloak should cost more than that, but not by much.
I'm thinking about setting the price at 7,000 GP for the Wolf, 9,000 GP for the Bear, and 13,000 for the Shark -- since sharks give an extra movement mode and Water Breathing ability.
Does the 3.5e DMG provide any guidance for items like this?
