Pringle alert!(ot, game snacks!)

First Post
down here in western tennessee the weather has been terrible. bad storms every night, and recently tornadoes have struck in the adjacent counties.

one of these tornadoes struck the proctor and gamble plant up near Jackson, one of only 2 places in the world where Pringles are made. i believe it is the only place Pringles for N. America are made.

Noone was hurt, adn p+g is being great about assisting employees whose homes were damaged, but if you prefer Pringles as a gaming snack, i have to suggest stocking up :)

I'm happy no one was hurt.

I hope that the flow of pringles is not interrupted. Because of my girth (hey, I've lost 40 pounds though) I must limited myself to Fat Free pringles. They are hard to find at the grocery store sometimes though.

They are not a bad deal for a snack. You get 15 chips for 70 calories, and if you eat them one at a time...they keep you going a while.

My wife used to be a nurse in the other plant in the world where pringles are made. No storms over here, so if you start showing withdrawal symptoms, let me know, maybe we can work something out.;)

Keep up the good work, buddy! With that show of level-headednes in the latest FFE thread, it sure would be cool to have you around and healthy for a long time to come. :)

I'm glad to hear no one was hurt at the plant. Overe here in east Tennessee, it seems that things looked pretty bad in west Tennessee (and we have schools closed due to flooding).

As long as Little Debbie Swiss Cake Rolls are in good supply, I'll be okay (and, because I only eat them while gaming and I game infrquently, they aren't much of a weight hazard).

it is funny you bring this up. when we lived in east tennessee i applied ot be a literacy trainer at their plant.

when oyu go in to apply, there are (very expensive) crystal platters sitting out all around the waiting room with every little debbie product on them, individually wrapped. as long as you are there to fill out an app. or waiting on an interview it is all you can eat!!!!

i wanted to host a gamenight there in the lobby :D

I had a client whom I sold computer hardware to in Chicago who make all of the pork rhinds for Frito Lay and other companies as well. During one meeting they brought trays of their test flovors and asked my opinion, it was the most digusting stuff and I was not sure what to say. Not being a big fane of fried pig skin to begin with probably did not help.

I still remember my first meeting, when I walked through the plant, which just stinks (as most food plants do) and then they offered many different types of pork rhinds. I wanted the business and dare not say no.
