Problems with ETHelper

I am trying to enter the Ki Swordsman from Quint. Monk 2 and when I get to entering class features using the Quick-add New Feature Type to enter the Ki Sword, Ki Shield, etc. it crashes on me. Does anyone have by chance this Pestig. Class entered, could I get get some help entering it, or maybe get a copy of a export of this class?

Hi there! Sorry it took me so long before seeing this note. I'm ET Helper's author, so I can help you deal with any crashes you're having. However, nobody else has been reporting this problem. Are you still having difficulty with it?

Is there any walk-through to Quick-add New Feature Type? I am trying to add the Class abilities from the Quintisential Monk 2's Ki Swordsman and FFE Encyclopedia of Prestige Classes's Mimic. Both have strange abilities and am looking for any help.

Unfortunately, no. But adding Feature Types should be pretty straightforward. I don't have any of the current books, so you'd have to help me out with what you're trying to add. But in general, most features are just text (in one form or another) and you just create them (with "None" special effects) and then use them in the Feature list. Count-up numerical values are also available by including "#" in the feature name and pointing it to a variable from the Feature list.

Is the program still crashing on you? It shouldn't be doing that, and we should probably resolve any such issues first. (Usually crashes are just due to out-of-date version problems.)

After uninstalling and reinstalling both e-tools and ET helper all is working good. My problem is with the ability to add to the class skill list every level a cross-class skill and the ability to add a weapon or armor proficiency at every other level(No specifics, just one in general)

Unfortunately, eTools itself doesn't let you adjust the skill list dynamically, so there's not much I can do for that.

It's been a while since I looked into the weapon stuff, but I don't think that eTools allows that either. But you might ask around in the CMP forums as people that hang out there tend to keep their fingers in such areas and can probably tell you for sure off the top of their head.
