Programs/Templates/Resources for Adventure Design

Hi All,
I'm planning a "mega-adventure"/mini-campaign and was looking for a resource that would allow me to organize everything. I know there are a bunch out there, but I'm wondering if ENWorlders will tell me about them - what you like to use, what it does, etc. Basically I'm looking for something that will be helpful in plotting and keep info all together, such as NPCs, monsters, plot threads, etc.

The adventure is for 4E, levels 17-21 or so - so if the program is edition-specific it would hopefully be 4E. I am aware of Masterplan although have not used it.

Have at it!

OK, just spending three minutes with Masterplan tells me that it is exactly what I am looking for and more. Awesome program (from what I can tell in three minutes!).

I'm sill open to hearing other suggestions, or if you want to wax poetic about Masterplan.

I like The Brain -- basically linking and association software. It allows me to collect and link items as circumstances develop.

I similarly use Masterplan. I've only scratched the surface, and mostly rely on the encyclopedia feature for NPC tracking, but find the encounter builder really helpful (for 4E encounters).

I'd be interested in hearing how you use it, and what features you've been finding the most helpful.
