Pronounciations -- one. more. time.

In all the pronounciation threads that have come and gone, there's one name I've never seen: Nyr Dyv, from Greyhawk. I know of several ways to pronounce a 'y', depending on origin:

• ee (as 'near deev')
• eh (as 'ner dev')
• ie (as 'nire dive')
• i (as 'nir div')
• oo (as 'noor doov')

Of course, those could be mixed-and-matched, too. Anyone have anything semi-official? I've always said 'near div', but I'm curious what Gary intended.

Semi-officially, "NEAR div" it is!

That's the way I've always said it, too.
