I have heard Barendd pronounced as Buh-rend. It's not the way I pronounce it, but I'll answer to it.

Tal-arn. As in in, Tal (rhymes with HAL) and arn (rhymes with barn). The extra 'l' is in there simply to confuse people. I am not Tall (rhymes with ball) arn.
