Prophet's Blood

Araug takes another swig of his water, and chuckles at Ildrym's reply, "Indeed. I've no desire to spend my time crawling through caverns half my size." As he finishes his sentence he stands up to stretch his powerful frame, drawing a few curious looks from nearby patrons, before sitting down again.

Kardus heads out to the veranda, seeing the farmers and ranchers haggle, talk, and most of all drink. Looking onward a few strangers can be seen heading towards the Mayor's home. A light shines from the upstairs window, but is doused before these men reach it's gate.

Locals know that 'Mayor' Wilford doesn't accept visitors on nights he's going to be conducting business.

After a moment a farmer and rancher clasp hands with a thunderous clap that carries through to the tavern and give hearty laughs. The farmer then directs his son to take the bull back home, and yells for a round of beers.

Casey looks over her small customer, “If ya say so sir.” She takes the pouch, removing a coin and handing it to you. “Ya wont regret it, some of the best local wine we produce.” She hurries off to the other bartender, getting a key from him then knocking at Frederick's door. Frederick answers the door, getting the key from Casey and tells her to wait at the door.

Kikyik turns to the smaller kobold. In draconic:
"Shhhhhh! You do our hosts a diservice by complaining! This trade agreement is vital for our tribes expansion... we need this. Do not make me regret letting you come along."

Anyway there's a strange atmosphere this evening...something is going to happen, I feel at as clear as a thunder. Well...it was time, I was getting a little bit bored into this world-forgotten village.

Cyrack lowers his head in shame, and meekly adds in draconic, "I know what this will do for our tribe.......it's just I feel akward in this place of warmbloods. I don't mean to complain. I'm sorry Kikyik" He rasies his head slowly seeing the orc stand, and couldn't contain a whelp of fear.

"Something's going to happen? In a nothing town like this?" Catrin grins the grin of the young and terminally bored. "We'll be lucky."

Ildrym stares at the youngling <I guess you will appreciate boredom more, when a horde of rampaging orc invaders raze the village and one of them stabs you through the stomach> - he says drily. -No offence meant - he nods...to Araugh.

Araug glances at the two humans curiously and sighs, "I guess my people have earned their reputation through their actions. I would hope that you do not judge me so easily. That has not been my life for some time." He continues, turning towards the human female that has joined their conversation, "I am Araug, last of the Broken Fist tribe."
