Since I'm in Canada and most of the good online deals are american, It doesn't end up as a good deal when I order from the states, with custom fees, shipping fees, exchange rates, etc.

Plus I don't like to wait. When I thumb through a book and I want it, I don't like having to wait another 2 weeks for it :)

99.9 Percent online which included EnWorlds Store, the Marketplace Forum here, Amazon and Ebay.
I have an FGS that is 40+miles away in another city and it is never convienent for me to get there. When I am I spend quite a bit but online is the easist.

Back when I was rebuilding my B/X and AD&D collection, it was almost all online.

Newer stuff I generally tend to buy from one of the 2 FLGSs, though one has recently annoyed the hell out of me, and I probably won't be spending much money there in the future.

For the most part, I only buy online what I can't get at my FLGS.

Oh, I suppose I could have them order in-print stuff that they don't normally carry, but I don't bother. Besides, most of the in-print stuff I want to buy can be found on the shelves.

Most of the gaming materials I get as gifts are bought online, though.

Almost entirely online (although a local shop has great prices on single D&D minis, so I buy a lot of minis there). I'm a poor grad student whose wife still hasn't found a job in the two years we've lived here, so it's either get the book at 40-50% off or don't get it all for me.

Always, always, always at my FLGS.
For me, it's about helping to keep our gaming communities strong and healthy with the power of our purchases.

I buy roughly 75% of my gaming material online, and the rest from my LGS. That way I get new books when the come out or within a few days of the release date, where as if I wait for the shop to get them in it could take a couple weeks (although thats more the fault of my LGS).

Almost always online. I haven't bought anything but dice at my FLGS (and I even ordered my last dice batch online). You just can't beat the discount. I suggest Overstock.com. As I mentioned in the other thread, if the FLGS gave some kind of discount, I might buy something there. But they don't, so I don't. On a side note, I'm just as likely to buy at a Borders, Waldens, etc. as a FLGS.
