As an aside, I thought I was going to have to use this facility just now, as it wouldn't let me post my vote in another thread! Claimed I "wasn't logged in". But it worked on my second try. I was kind of disappointed.

So a judge would email the list, and one of the other judges would post to the forum saying, "so-and-so voted this way on the mailing list" - no hidden ballot. Any objection to that?

Sounds fine.

Hopefully this issue will be very rare anyway, if the servers keep working the way they do. I have yet to experience any slowdowns or crashes since EN World was fixed by that pro.
