No... you suck in five disciplines, unless you use the various fixes or abuses to get around that.

It's sort of like saying "[Class] suck, but if you use these house rules, then they're great" or "[Class] suck, but if you use this wonderfully broken item/combo/etc then you're actually overpowered, and DMs who saw this [class] in 2e will just ban you again".
