Psion power points

Can somebody go through the number of power points a Psion with a relevant stat of 16 gets at level 6?

I think I'm confused.

that's the way I play it anyway and never had a problem with it being too powerful or anything. It isn't clear in the book but I'm guessing most people will prolly say 20 since you get 15 for being 6th level and 5 bonus for having a prime stat of 16. I just add the bonus points up, 1+3+5=9+15=24.
