Psionic PrCs

Tanks would be Sanctified Mind (Lords of Madness) and perhaps Diamond Dragon (Dragon Magic), in addition to the excellent generic Slayer (SRD).

But that's just me being snarky.

Other PrCs are:
- Shadow Mind (Complete Adventurer)
- A whole bunch in the Complete Psionic
- Some good ones in The Mind's Eye (retired WotC web feature)

Cheers, -- N

Some, but not many considering it was a splatbook for 3e psionics, or so many were led to believe. That newish format (1 PrC spread over 50 pages or something) was the culprit, methinks.

In other words, here. :)

There's also Hyperconscious, which has about 20, I think. It's good too!

You can take a lot of magical PrCs and substitute spellcasting increases with manifesting increases on a level-for-level basis. Some flavour, an ability or two (sometimes) and you're good to go.

This PDF looks interesting. I might pick it up sometime, but at the moment I can't tell you anything about it that you couldn't just read yourself.

edit --- there might be some in this thread, also. And over at the WotC classes forum (or whatever it's called.) There are lists upon lists there, from memory. I won't try linking that though, as it seems to be closed for the time being.

Hyperconscious has some really cool ones.
There are 10 PrCs in the afore linked Untapped Potential.
Metablades has some appropriate for psionic fighter types.

Untapped Potential (mentioned before) has 10 PrCs, ranging from melee, to gish, to pure manifester, morphing, construct-based, crystal-based, etc... The reviews actually list them all out with description if you're interested :)

Hyperconscious has some very, very cool PrCs - and by and large, they are very well balanced. Ghostbreaker is perhaps the strongest, at 5/5 progression and full BAB, while some are fairly weak (5/10 progression). It also has a fixed version of the Metamind.

The Mind's Eye made about 10 3.5 psionic PrCs before the article was retired. It was later re-activated, but there have only been two to three articles since it was reopened.

Dragon Magic has the Diamond Dragon.

And then there are the others listed - sanctified mind, shadow mind, oh, and Cognition Thief from Player's Guide to Faerun.

Heh, when I said "tanks" I was taking it from the line in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade when the Nazis pay the Republic of Hatay to help them to find the Grail: "We'll supply you with men, guns, water and tanks." "You're welcome." I never even considered it in the D&D sense! :)

Oh, I should mention that the print version of Untapped Potential will have 2 additional PrCs (plus all the artwork that it's pretty much universally agreed was the biggest downside of the PDF release... reminder - free copy of the print PDF to purchasers of the original! Shameless self-promotion, sorry...).

The two new PrCs will be the psychic acrobat (sort of self-explanatory) and the seidmadr (based upon taking over the mind of others).
