Well, I still maintain that it's actually pretty easy to keep track of as long as you do it right.

But of course that doesn't answer your question. You might also consider timeless body, from WotC's "Mind's Eye" web features. Causes the creature touched to ignore all effects on his body, both helpful and harmful, for 1d4+1 rounds. After which they all catch up with him (instantaneous effects happen, durations of other effects start).
