Since it's possible to build a psion who gets into melee occasionally (like many psychometabolists) and a psion's power point total prevents her from using as many powers per day as a wizard or sorcerer casts spells, perhaps psions should have an intermediate, cleric-like base attack bonus progression?
This progession would make the psychic warrior almost obsolete, of course -- although I always thought the psychic warrior would be better as a prestige class, if anything.
Has anyone tried this in their campaigns? Is it balanced?
