Psyched for The Black Company!

I think the 'problem' is that the hrose does indeed look small but that part that looks like her stomache is actually her leg as both of her legs are on one side of the horse. Well, that's how I see it.

Glen Cook's style is certainly one that many readers may not be used to. Sometimes it was a little unclear to me what was going on in some scenes (but that may have had to do with reading while tired).

Overall, I think it would make a very good setting, actually. But as was alluded to earlier, I would be interested to see how they treat alignment. Or if it just remains the same as d20. Surely some compensation or balance has been struck to account for the amoral views of many of the characters.

Alignment in Black Company

The issue of alignment was addressed in the design early on in the project. Rest assured, we've taken care of it. Sorry for being vague, more previews will follow soon!

Hi Robert,
will there be a support for the BCCS?

Will there a Tower of Charm or Taglios Book?

And are Adventures for the BCCS planned?

Gods!! That would be great! I hope so.

I'm in the middle of She is the Darkness which I'm enjoying a lot more then Bleak Seasons, not that that has anything to do with this thread. I just thought I mention it.

No. Our license is for only one book and even getting that was quite difficult. Many companies tried and failed, going back to the 80s, so we were happy to even get the shot. This is why the book is a 320 page hardback. We figured that if we could only do one book, we'd make it huge and try to pack as much stuff as possible into it.

As to the fellow who thought the Lady was a blonde, I think it is her sister Soulcatcher who is blonde. Oh, like that's really a spoiler to those of us so eager to buy this book?

And from the stats of Croaker in the pdf preview, it looks like they've gone the way of d20 Modern, using allegiances rather than alignments.

Both the Lady and Soulcatcher have black hair; they look enough like each other to pass for the other among those who don't know them well (as did Booboo).
