Okay, see I have a reason behind this whole Rage-induced psionic power thing. Psionics is all in the mind, right, and to me, Rage is all in the mind (in cause). It seems to me that Rage could really be made into a psionic feat in and of itself, should someone want to do so(or maybe a power, but that could get messy).
I see a psionically active rager as a character who has tapped into his mental energy through a slightly different pathway... he's taken the back route in. I would imagine that a Raging psionicist would be manifesting powers or using abilities much like he did when his powers first began to show up during adolesence (nearly at random).
And as for the psionically enhanced rage, I say hell yeah! Like I've said above, I feel that Rage is fairly much akin to a psionic type ability anyways, and someone who has greater psionic potential should be able to tap this to increase to potency of his own anger.
As for psionic attacks, I think that they are pretty useful, just... dull. I see no reason why a raging character should not be able to force his unhinged mind upon those around him. Hell, based on the increased will save and ability modifiers, raging would be one of the best ways to approach psionic combat (Anyone seen Dark City? Think of the ending where John duels Mr. Book mentally [Psionic Combat anyone?]. John's force of will was enhanced by his anger [look at his face in that scene and tell me he ain't mad].)
Prestige class would be fun (hell core class would be fun... can't you just see a tribe of barbarians who, by tapping their "inner voices", unleash the powers of the Egoist or Savant?), but then again, I have no problem with feats that allow multi-class characters to better unite their two (or more) classes. If anything, it would allow for better character concept realization for soome people, and a few new tricks for a DM.
