Just curious, are the books you get written in the German language? I'd love to get my hands on the core books if they were available in the German language due to my Germanic heritage.
Dragonworld distributes RPGs
within Germany, whatever their language. They won't deliver to the USA, as far as I am aware. And I've never bothered with German-language RPG books unless they were originally written in German in the first place (such as German Call of Cthulhu books - the German publisher of the game has produced some
amazing stuff, some of which Chaosium is now trying to translate into English...).
Apparently (as far as I can determine after some Googling), the German Core Rules are in a state of transition - the rights to D&D in Germany switched company some time ago. The old version is no longer comercially available, but the new one is supposed to come out this month. Perhaps you can get it via Amazon then...
But back to the main topic: I now have Ptolus. Fortunately, another person who lives in the same house got it while I was away.
Strangely enough, this does
not seem to be a "standard" preorder edition - it didn't have the copies of the "Player's Guide" (but to be fair, Dragonworld didn't promise that on their website) ,and it isn't numbered, either - but it
does have "Night of Dissolution".
Oh well - as long as I have it and can gloat about it...
