Public-domain art

Hi all,

I'm looking to spiff up a few documents of mine as was wondering what sites I could find public domain art? I'm basically looking for medieval/fantasy stuff, and don't want to step on anyones toes or violate copyright by including them (I wish to put the documents on my website). Any help appreciated.

There is also APG Studio Companion Vol. I by Alea publishing Group for about $5.00.

It contains 50 public domain images and the demo talks about what you can do with Public Domain Images.

It contains mostly Arthurian themes, but can be used and manipulated to meet your needs.
