Can't say anything about content though, couldn't bring myself to buy it

This is pretty much where I stand.

I've heard that some of APs books are good and some are less-than-good. But the bottom line is that the book covers are simply something I don't feel like explaining to my girlfriend (who is currently under the impression that all gaming books have covers like AP).

My wife is fine with the covers, she finds they funny... My problem is buying them in a gaming shop that has mainly female staff where I am well known enough to warrant a 10% discount on all my purchases...

Then again, being 35 with 3 children I doubt that I am exactly the audience that these covers are aimed at :D

As far as I can tell the covers are actually causing people to *not* buy them. Sure it gets Avalanche publicity but it's not helping the sales.

They look like the crap covers from the D&D knock-offs of yesteryear. I don't expect to open them and find quality inside.

Consequently, I have never bothered to open one.

Fashion Don't: Mordred is obviously right-handed by the way he’s holding his sword, right? So… why’d he cover his shield arm in armor? Of course, using a shield is a problem when you strap your shoulder armor over the shield strap.

LOL! *snorts* It's true, it's true! LOL! :p
